Beatriz “BJ” Martinez-Prillaman has been facilitating the buying and selling of Real Estate in South Florida since 1995. Her record is ample and successful in both, new development sales and existing property. Her efforts and expertise are primarily focused on luxury and waterfront property but she has also helped investors in acquisitions of diverse Real Estate opportunities at all price points.
Until May 2019, when BJ decided to go back to sales full time, BJ was proudly ONE Sotheby's International Realty Regional Director of Sales. In this position, she led the management of the offices in Broward, Palm Beach and Martin Counties, while at the same time, held the Managing Broker Position of the Leading Fort Lauderdale office. BJ was invited to join this prestigious company in January 2013 after being the Managing Broker of her own firm for nine years.
In addition, BJ is a Certified Professional Leadership & Business Coach, and this is where her true passion lies. She has been hired by numerous business professionals and has helped optimize salesforces in different industries. She has assembled and led very successful sales teams throughout her career.
She believes in providing the highest level of service, accurate and up-to-date information, skilled analysis and sound Real Estate advice. BJ honors the trust placed on her abilities and her honesty is her most valuable asset.
Born and raised in Venezuela, BJ came to the United States to pursue a college education and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology Degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She then returned to Venezuela where she continued Post-Baccalaureate and Graduate work in Marketing and Business Management. She came back to the United States years later and made Florida her home. A perennial student, she constinues developing her Coaching, Business and Management Skills.
She is the proud mother of two very successful professional women. She is very active and enjoys the excitement and lifestyle that South Florida provides, which she only escapes when she pursues her love of traveling the world.
BJ is very involved in the Fort Lauderdale community and actively volunteers and contributes to several charitable organizations.
