It is positioned adjacent to the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Terminal, which is set to become the largest project of its kind in Cyprus. The estimated cost of this LNG Terminal is €289 million, marking it as the most significant energy initiative in Cyprus. The project includes an LNG floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), a jetty, mooring facilities, a pipeline, and various related onshore and offshore infrastructure.

The Vasilikos Area, known as the Energy Park, is situated on the southern coast of Cyprus and is the sole industrial region in Cyprus equipped with port facilities for handling dirty cargo, with the potential for expansion to support the burgeoning oil and gas sector in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean. Presently, the Vasilikos area is home to the largest power plant in Cyprus, VTTI's petroleum storage facilities, a cement manufacturing plant, an industrial port, and other industrial establishments. Additionally, the Vasilikos Area has been designated for the construction of the LNG liquefaction plant and the government's petroleum storage facility.

Several characteristics render this parcel of land exceptional:

- It is privately owned and remains entirely undeveloped, not held by the government or any corporation.
- It is the only privately available land within the Vasilikos Energy Park.
- It is strategically located in the heart of the heavy industrial zone of Vasilikos.
- A constructed jetty adjacent to the property significantly minimizes potential construction costs for a new jetty.
- Following the establishment of the LNG Import Terminal, this will be the only undeveloped land remaining in the Vasilikos Area, Energy Park.
