The villa is located within the Nature Reserve of the Island of Lampedusa, an area characterized by a very high landscape and environmental value, facing one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and in the Mediterranean, the beach of rabbits, which accessed directly from the property. The villa consists of two buildings with a gross surface area of approximately 220 m2 and a veranda, terraces and patio for a total of approximately 120 m2, joined together by a patio on the ground floor and a terrace on the first floor, which rise in front of the Isola dei Conigli and directly overlook the homonymous beach. The villa is surrounded by a garden of about 1000 square meters enclosed with a dry stone wall, inside the garden there are various tree species, palms, bougainvilleas, agaves and other essences typical of the Mediterranean maquis. Access to the villa is from the Strada di Ponente, which is paved up to about 500 m from the villa, where there is a small clearing that can be used as a parking lot, from here, the driveway access is closed and the road can only be traveled on foot. The villa was built in the late seventies through the demolition and reconstruction of a previous building. The villa was built keeping faith with the typical characteristics of island dammusi with external walls in exposed stone, flat roofs with small central vaults, patios and verandas with wooden roofs. - First body of the building - The ground floor is accessed directly from the garden through a portico that overlooks the sea. The floor consists of a large living room, an eat-in kitchen and through a small corridor to two bedrooms served by a bathroom that can also be used from the living area. From the living room, an internal staircase leads to the mezzanine floor where there is a third bedroom with a covered terrace overlooking the sea and a master bathroom. In the middle of the connecting staircase to the mezzanine floor, there is an exit which via an external stone staircase connects the first building to the first floor of the second building. Access to the bedroom on the first floor is via a large terrace which leads to the fourth bedroom, also with private bathroom. - Second building - The ground floor consists of two rooms, the first larger accessible from the garden is used as a laundry room, the second also accessible from the internal patio of the villa is used as a fifth bedroom, this one also equipped with its own small toilet service. Internally the villa is in good maintenance conditions with terracotta floors, wall and ceiling coverings with painted plaster and internal wooden doors.
