Description
Palace designed by the French architect Mourey in 1925, situated in one of the most beautiful and elegant districts of Paris - XVI arrondissement. It belonged in the early 1990s to the Serbian Royal family Karadjordjevic and is where exiled Prince Paul and Princess Olga lived after World War II. From 1998 to date it is where Madeleine and Philip Zepter stay from time to time.
The interior of the villa exudes a refined combination of aesthetics, luxury and functionality. The combina- tion of unique materials combined with original decorations provide the necessary touch of warmth as well as a touch of luxury.
The harmony of the chic elegance of the interior together with exceptional environment and location embraces its quality of the "absolute perfect" home.
The villa was fully renovated in 1996. A team of experts worked on restoring beauty and shine to this valuable architectural monument, while preserving at the same time the mystery of its past.
A new reinforced-concrete foundation was built below the old foundation, and new reinforced-concrete and steel floor slabs were constructed between levels. A new roof structure was built, with a new roof cover. The house was fitted with completely new plumbing (water and sewer systems), LV and HV electrical installations (telephone, TV and computer network), and a com- plex electronic-physical security system, with anti-diversion protection. The facade was renovated according to local conservation requirements. The facade cladding is Parisian sand- stone in tiles and blocks, used for dec- orative friezes and the framework around openings. The roof cover is made of sheet metal, zinc and lead alloy. Exterior metalwork - windows, doors, fences - are a combination of wrought iron with gilded decorations and high-quality steel frames paned with security glass 33 mm thick.
Main entrance exterior landscaped with two green areas enclosed by a wrought iron fence with a parking space in directly in front.
