Description
In Abruzzo the hinterland is mostly made up of national parks and nature reserves. The region includes medieval and Renaissance villages among green hills covered with vineyards and olive trees where the Gran Sasso and the blue sea (costa dei trabocchi) are kissed by the sun.
The city of Chieti sits on a hill 330 m above sea level. Its history begins in remote times, legend, in fact, has it that Chieti was founded in 1181 BC. from the Greek hero Achilles who called her Theate. In this city, ancient noble families followed one another and in 1717 Palazzo Carosi was built, which was later transformed by the Tabassi family and made into a stately home. So that it too became part of the series of historic and famous buildings in the ancient Corso Marrucino of the city. And it is precisely in this street that on Good Friday at dusk the procession begins from the cathedral of San Giustino, one of the most evocative and ancient in Italy.
Part of Palazzo Tabassi is now being sold, more precisely the second floor, the third and part of the fourth.
In addition to the building's elevator, inside the apartment we find one that connects the second and third floors.
Since it is a very large surface area, the purchase of a part could also be considered.
It is a home that must be visited for its wonder and breadth. Currently lived as a single apartment, but can be easily divided into two units.
Entering the second floor (totally renovated) we find the entrance, and on our left a modern and large kitchen combined with a spacious pantry and a service balcony. While on the right we have all the views of Corso Marrucino and more precisely a dining room, a double living room with fireplace and then also the two double bedrooms, one of which with a large walk-in closet. Continuing the visit from the entrance we find ourselves in particular pass-through rooms and on our left we find two spacious bathrooms. Continuing in another room with built-in wardrobes there is the lift that takes you to the third floor.
Currently the third floor is mostly used as an office, and consequently we have 4 rooms used as studios, a large room, a large kitchen also with fireplace, a veranda, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a wooden staircase that leads to the fourth floor with two rooms, toilet and terrace.
If desired, via a spiral staircase, from the first office you can access a warehouse/attic of approximately 50 m2. Which can also be reached from the condominium lift. And here we have dormer windows for natural light.
The whole is completed by a basement and three covered parking spaces, in two separate garages.
