Description
This elegant apartment is located a few minutes from the walled city, in a context of great architectural value. It is the result of a careful and very recent renovation which was able to harmonize the classic context of the building with a contemporary internal reality, which is noticeable not only in the choice of materials but also for the presence of a portion of very modern furnishings.
It is accessed via two different entrances: the first is the convenient main access to the building which, thanks to a large and functional internal staircase, with just a few steps, leads to the entrance of the apartment, located on the ground floor; the second is a service entrance located at the rear from the internal courtyard.
Once you enter the apartment you immediately come across the central corridor which acts as a hallway for the different rooms that make up the living area. Continuing you come across a spacious eat-in kitchen with modern furnishings, a pantry/utility room and a separate dining room. Both are directly connected to a balcony. Continuing you then come across a living room and a first bedroom/study. A second hallway then separates the living area from the sleeping area which houses two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite.
The apartment is equipped with high and evocative decorated ceilings which guarantee, in combination with the large French windows, a very bright and airy environment.
The property includes a cellar located in the basement.

Of artistic value are the rationalist buildings erected by Giuseppe Terragni from Como such as the Casa del Fascio. Nearby, the Volta Temple houses some relics of the scientist Alessandro Volta. Villa Olmo is home to high-level art exhibitions while the funicular that connects the city to the Brunate mountain completes the itinerary of the visit. Sailing Lake Como offers year-round easy access to the other picturesque locations around the lake. You can easily reach the most famous ski resorts including St. Moritz, Livigno and Bormio. The international airports of Milan Malpensa and Linate can also be reached in about 40 minutes.
