Description
The Art Nouveau style developed between the end of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century, in this climate of innovation that the prestigious Villa Pina, built in pure Art Nouveau style in the 1920s, characterized by a panoramic turret that accentuates its beauty, finds its origins. The villa is located in a strategic area, from which the main streets of the center, the train station and primary services are easily reachable on foot. With an internal surface area of approximately 300 square meters, on a lot of 950 square meters, the residence is closed with a fence in wrought iron, of fine craftsmanship, with two imposing entrance doors, on top of which there is the coat of arms of the original family. The entrance facade of the villa has a balcony supported by columns with capitals, under which the walls have elegant floral graffiti with still bright colors, while under the eaves, there are beautiful graffiti depicting griffins, all in pure Art Nouveau style. Spread over three levels above ground and a basement (tavern), the property welcomes on the ground floor the entrance onto a passageway with a staircase that leads to the first floor with an artistic wrought iron railing, the elegant living room with fireplace, the kitchen, the bathroom with shower and the study. The fixtures and windows are in excellent condition and the electrical and plumbing system recently redone, from the living room it is possible to access the back garden, which is dominated by a characteristic outbuilding, once a stable, now used as a triple garage. At the entrance it is possible to admire a wrought iron chandelier, typical of castles, the grit floor with a perimeter frame detail, and the wall decorations that have been patiently restored; on the glass of the doors you can read the same initials reported at the top of the entrance doors and on the furniture the same griffins of the eaves. On the first floor there are four large bedrooms, a bathroom and two balconies. The second floor features a small room (9mq. approx.) currently used as a large storage room, a bathroom with original flooring, the large attic room and the poetic tower houses an additional bedroom. The basement of about 110mq, is distributed between a utility room and three other rooms. The plaster on the walls has been refurbished. The villa is characterised by refined artistic decorations, high ceilings, fine floors and period frescoes, even the electrical system recalls the original one with switches that enrich its workmanship. Among stuccos, herringbone parquet, cement and grit floors, original wooden vaulted windows of the time, make the property one of a kind!
