The west façade is more articulated and is punctuated by regular openings, some of which have 19th-century balconies and grilles.
In the 19th century, Florence became a popular destination for foreigners thanks to the ‘Grand Tour', attracting visitors in search of history, art and culture. From this period, the villa passed to two important foreign families, who renovated it according to the canons of the late 19th century. A classical taste that then influenced the architectural landscape of the beautiful Florentine hills.
