Description
LUXURY SEA VIEW APARTMENT VIA GOFFREDO DI CROLLALANZA BARI
Living by the Sea in the Center of Bari!
We are on the Bari seafront at the height of Piazza Diaz, in one of the most fascinating period residential complexes of our city built in 1929 by Engineer Minchilli inspired by the scenographic monumentality of the architectural style of the second Roman Renaissance, characterized by simple shapes embellished with decorative elements such as capitals and masks that have given elegance and charm to the building.
The entrance to the complex is located on Via Goffredo di Crollalanza, a non-random choice by the designer to protect the entrance to the complex from the mistral. The portal with the wrought iron gate highlights the scenic grandeur of the complex, with the eight columns and the Ionic style capitals, characterized by the presence of small apotropaic masks. Above the INCIS writing with the balustrade characterized by a succession of small columns, then the Romanesque style mullioned windows, and at the height of the third floor, the emblem of the Savoy coat of arms.
The atrium offers an atmosphere of times gone by, starting from the ceiling with white coffered vaults from which hangs an iron chandelier, with the eight columns that recall the style of those visible at the entrance. The internal courtyard is a common space characterized by the presence of centuries-old palm trees and benches, with the four condominium halls that allow access to the residences, with Renaissance-inspired decorations, such as the shells that surmount the doors, as well as the shields and masks near the large windows of the stairwell.
Once inside, it is the spiral staircase that attracts our attention, enhanced by the light from the large windows, the Carrara marble steps and the iron and wood handrails.
With the elevator we reach the third floor and entering the house the blue of the sea welcomes us home. The finishing materials are precious, starting from the solid parquet mounted in an Italian herringbone pattern that guides us towards the corner living room as well as the balcony that will always guarantee an unrepeatable view of the Lungomare and the Barion roundabout. Here we also find a fully equipped kitchenette, the dining table, the sofa, and in continuity a second room that can be a study or a second bedroom. On the other side the large master bedroom with a wonderful marble bathroom also with a window overlooking the sea. The house is perfect, bright and ready to be inhabited as it is sold complete with furnishings and accessories and the pleasant surprise is also the presence of a large cellar with a window in the basement.
We are talking about an unrepeatable and unique property in this building to be equipped with a corner balcony, suitable for a couple or rather for those who want to secure a piece of history of our city capable of guaranteeing rental income...--afabe747f6de46fa4148ddf6e4a2eaa1!
