Delightful 1950s villa belonging to the first settlement in Ansedonia, the first group of villas built by the engineer. Guido Tarantelli who carried out the first subdivision of the territory.
This first nucleus was formed around the coastal tower of San Biagio which at the time housed a hotel and the newly opened Vinicio bar restaurant.
They were houses conceived very simply, more country houses than of the sea, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub with the intense scent of rosemary and strawberry trees and with glimpses of open sea in the greenery.
Then in the early 1960s the Monte Argentario area of which Ansedonia was in some way part, became a a fashionable holiday resort gradually frequented by foreigners, intellectuals and politicians.

But the charm of this first nucleus settled in the Maremma countryside overlooking the sea with the two wonderful beaches on the sides of the promontory and the imposing beauty of the Argentario in front.
