This historical farm is located in the Bovlei, one of the most beautiful valley’s in South Africa. The first ten farms in this valley were registered in 1699. The family has been farming here for 305 years. Rich historical heritage is well documented. A very unique, strategic location contributes to the tourist activities. Good soil and quality gravity-fed water are some of the agricultural strengths. 60 ha arable land with 60 ha water rights and no irrigation pumps! The existing irrigation infra-structure is doing 50 ha: 35 ha vines, 5 ha rootstock, 3,5 ha Valentia oranges and 5 ha vegetables. About 15 ha land are lying fallow and ready for replanting. From an agricultural point of view citrus trees are a viable industry.
