The Cannaregio district is the second largest in Venice after Castello and is the most populated. In this district there is the Ghetto of Venice which can be reached on foot by crossing the Ponte delle Guglie and along the Strada Nova, the main artery of the whole that leads from the Santa Lucia station to Rialto.
