The Hotel "Il Falchetto" has been a well-known typical restaurant of the Alta Val di Non since the 1960s, located in the center of the wonderful mountain meadows of the Regole di Malosco at about 1,350 m above sea level. Today Il Falchetto is a modern structure, completely renovated and expanded in 2005/2006. The hotel part has 32 rooms for a total of 68 beds, while the restaurant has about 200 seats inside and a spacious outdoor de hors with over 100 seats. The kitchen is large, modern and known for the excellent dishes of the Nonese and Trentino tradition. The property also includes a spacious garage, numerous storage rooms/cellars, the tavern for guests and above all the over 3 hectares of private meadow and woodland that surround the hotel, contributing to its uniqueness in the context of the Regole. Right from this plateau surrounded by woods, where our grandparents used to do the "Monteson" (traditional cutting and harvesting of hay for livestock), you can practice cross-country skiing during the winter season, while during the summer it is a privileged starting point for challenging excursions or comfortable walks, along paths that lead to the peaks of Mount Penegal or Macaion, from which you can enjoy the splendid view towards Bolzano and the surrounding area.
