Description
Levizzano - Castelvetro di Modena
In a valley, immediately south of Levizzano Rangone, the context appears very rich in flora and fauna and more precisely in vineyards and fodder crops for cattle feed.
The land hosts the ruins of four ancient rural buildings arranged in an open courtyard, two of which were for residential purposes and two for service purposes. The village, whose first construction dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, is located on a hill higher than the road surface and in a south-east direction with optimal sun exposure. It is a context rich in history, inside the main body there is still the plaque indicating it as the birthplace of Don Celestino Cavedoni.
The Borgo Ca' Cavedoni project involves the recovery of 1200 m2 of residential area, 230 m2 of garage and 15000 m2 of land surrounding the village.
