Location description: Cala d’Or, part of the municipality of Santanyi, is located in the southeast of the island. The renowned Cala d’Or marina is just a short walk from the town center. Both the town and the harbor with their numerous restaurants, bars and shops are a magnet for tourists. Cala Egos, located on the other side of the harbor, has a lively town center with a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and nightclubs.
There are numerous taxis and buses in the region, as well as a mini train that runs between Cala Egos, Cala d'Or and Cala Ferrera in summer. The area is particularly popular with families, offers many beaches and is largely closed in winter.
