Description
Herdade da Carvalhosa e dos Lameiros', with an area of 115 hectares, is located near Sabugal, in Beira Alta, in the district of Guarda, which is also very close to Spain. The property is recognised for its natural beauty and the significant environmental contribution it makes to the region. Its intrinsic characteristics are truly unique, being situated at the foot of the Serra da Malcata, on the right bank of the River Coa, at an average altitude of 850 metres.
The property is easily accessible. The far north of the estate is crossed by a high-voltage service branch from the Regional Wind Farm and is also served by low and medium-high voltage electricity branches, with a transformer substation (PT).
The property has a vast urban and rural estate, restored, with potential for the development of a charming hotel, tourist resort, meditation commune, recovery centre or other purposes. The existing buildings include

- 600 m² of storage and old rustic facilities
- 500 m² of recent agricultural buildings
The 'Herdade da Carvalhosa e dos Lameiros' is rich in water resources, including several surface springs and two ponds with their own spring. In addition, a tributary stream of the River Coa runs for more than 600 metres through the property. These resources, together with the geographical features, make it ideal for alternative energies, such as wind or solar farms.
With approximately 85 hectares of meadows and pastures and more than 30 hectares of black oak woodland, it has more than 7 kilometres of fencing spread over 12 parks, currently used for organic cattle breeding. The property's beautiful nature trails and paths are perfect for various environmentally sustainable activities.
