Description
One of the most remarkable constructions of Chamusca, located in its main street, near the Town Hall and the river Tejo. This 1861 manor is set on a 4.873,5m2 plot. It has a private chapel with direct access to the street, a gardened courtyard with benches and flowerbeds with Delft tiles, an extensive set of outbuildings (with a gross floor area of 1,614.03m2) around a private cobblestone street and an interior square. Within the manor we highlight the library, which extends over three halls and the the intermediate corridors, with 4.5m high shelves to the painted ceilings with the coats of arms of three noble families, the drawing rooms, with stone fireplaces and worked stucco ceilings, one of which with several original decorative paintings on the walls. Situated in the Ribatejo plains, center of the Portuguese equestrian culture, the village of Chamusca is close to the town of Golegã (5,4km away), where the National Horse Fair takes place every year brining over 1M travelers. The city of Santarém (22,6km away) - one of the possible locations of the new Lisbon airport (Magellan500) which would be 7 km away from the property. Located 91 km from Lisbon, it is close to the main north-south connection (A1 freeway) and the new IC3 route. Located in an ARU zone (area of urban rehabilitation) and would be eligible for great tax and cost reduction incentives for renovation.
