Description
Majestically situated atop Tibidabo mountain, this modernist palace, erected in 1925, stands as a symbol of architectural elegance and captivating views over the vibrant city of Barcelona. It serves as an eloquent testament to creativity and vision, where intricate ornamental details and expansive panoramic windows unite in an irresistible visual symphony. The open terraces, arranged on different levels, offer privileged settings from which to contemplate the ever-changing metropolis, transforming this residence into more than just a home: it becomes a gateway to the magic of architecture and the city itself.
This beautiful palace, with its modernist elements, began its construction in 1909 under the direction of architect Salvador Puiggrós, intended to house a 235-square-meter tower. Subsequently, in 1912, architect Antoni de Falguera i Sivilla carried out the first expansion of the house. However, it was in 1925 when the second and definitive expansion took place, which has remained intact ever since, without undergoing structural alterations.
In its layout, the main floor accommodates a majestic entrance hall, a spacious dining room seating 12, a generous kitchen with an office area, various bedrooms, and two toilets. On the first floor, the sleeping quarters feature an impressive master suite with a dressing room, a bathroom with jacuzzi and sauna, an additional guest suite, two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a study room, as well as a service bedroom with a full bathroom. In the attic, there is a gym, a studio, and the characteristic tower of the house. Finally, the basement houses a library, a billiard room, another double bedroom for guests, a bathroom, a toilet, and a laundry area.
The terraces, spread across different levels, allow for enjoying fabulous views, as well as a summer dining area, a swimming pool, and various gardens, creating an oasis of tranquility and beauty in the heart of the bustling city.
