With this idea, Luigi Buffoli, philanthropist and entrepreneur, wanted to create the first garden city in Italy in the early 1900s.
It is from this desire that “Il Milanino” .
Designed on the example of the English Garden Cities, it ideally has its entrance door in Piazza Flora and it is from here that the main ring road (viale Luigi Buffoli), the center of gravity of the green city, starts.
A real linear park overlooked by less than fifty villas in eclectic and Art Nouveau style.
On the parallel and perpendicular streets the further lots are then developed (from the original project there should have been 2,000) which together give life to a neighborhood surrounded by greenery.
Today it is an exclusive residential context which, among its advantages, has that of having remained unchanged over time.
