One of the most majestic houses of the Priorat, was built in 1801 on old structures of the sixteenth century, in the refined taste of the time.~In 2017 it was rehabilitated as rural accommodation, respecting to the maximum the aesthetics and the original architecture and giving every corner its personality.~It is a space for those who think that authenticity is a luxury and who want to be part of the centuries-old history of PRIORAT.~~First floor:~A spacious entrance welcomes guests and serves as a distributor. The old stables were used for the hotel facilities: boiler, water and diesel tanks.~There is an elevator and a workshop/storage room that also serves as a bicycle storage room. Baroque doors hide the wide staircase. At the back, as if it were an independent apartment, there is access to a large dining room. Around it there is the main kitchen with office and pantry, the library, another smaller dining room and a living area. A side corridor leads to the bathroom and the master bedroom.~The floor is the original terracotta floor. A room, used as a meeting space, and some toilets. There is also a spacious office with pre-installations for a kitchen.~From the covered terrace, a small porch leads to the old latrines. The walls are covered with graffiti from when the house was occupied by soldiers during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).~Looking west, in the afternoon sun, we find an old visitors' lounge, the former bedroom of the master of the house and the chapel.~This group of rooms has not been restored.
