Quinta dos Tres Rios is located in the Wine Region of the Dao Wine Region, in Tondela, in the district of Viseu, in Parada de Gonta, 16 km from Viseu and 1h30 from Porto International Airport. The house, with 800 m2 spread over three floors, was built in 1865 by an Englishman and renovated in 2006 by the current owners. With six suites, four of which have private living rooms, it offers a spacious and comfortable environment. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a fireplace and a kitchen with a dining area.
This property can be used as a family residence or for a lodging and winery business. With 4.6 hectares of land with exclusive views, the property also includes 6,000 m2 of vineyards with four varieties of classic red grapes from the Dao region. The vines were grafted onto American roots in 2005. In addition, there are around 125 olive trees, a vegetable garden and well-kept gardens.
For comfort, the house has a gas boiler supplied by a 2000 kg propane gas tank, which centrally heats the house and water. Water comes from two wells and a mine, with a private sewage system. The windows have double glazing, the electrical installation is three-phase, connectivity is via fiber optics for Internet and TV.
