Plot of land with 40.85 hectares of cork oak forest located in the coastal Alentejo region of Portugal, in the Serra de Santiago do Cacem.
The land is surrounded by forests of cork oaks and holm oaks and offers 360-degree panoramic views of the mountains, hills and meadows. The property is crossed by a stream that runs between autumn and spring and also has a stone spring and an olive grove.
According to the PDM, it is possible to rehabilitate and extend the existing buildings, as well as present a tourism project for country houses, agro-tourism and a rural hotel with an area of around 6000m2, and a project can also be presented for a detached villa with a swimming pool (housing) and the creation of more agricultural outbuildings. There is also a traditional Alentejo house on the property (with unobstructed views) to restore and increase the existing area, there is also a ruin (which is an agricultural annex) with unobstructed views, a technical room has recently been built to support the water pump and electricity for the solar panels and there is also a two-bedroom mobile home with a wooden deck and unobstructed views.
The property has a 2D and 3D 'QGis' topographical survey, with altimetry and total coverage of the property, identifying all the hills and accesses. The property has cork harvesting and the removal of dead cork oaks. A solar energy collection system was installed in 2021, consisting of 16 solar panels with a 25-year guarantee, 4 lithium batteries with a 10-year guarantee and an inverter with a 5-year guarantee. There is a spring on the property that has been rehabilitated and a borehole with three water lines and a complete water treatment plan.
The property is about 1.5 hours by car from Lisbon airport, 15 minutes by car from Santiago do Cacem and 25 minutes by car from the beaches of Melides and Lagoa de Santo Andre.
