The villa is located in Tremezzina, a small village on the western shore of Lake Como, located at the bifurcation of the two branches of the Lario. The building is located in the center of a lot overlooking Via Regina, the state road that runs along the lake. The building is in Art Nouveau style, probably built between the 1910s and 1940s. Among the most valuable elements of this architecture are the decorative bands along the façades, which need to be restored in various parts. Even the decorative cements, the window frames and the balcony shelves refine the villa. The parapets are composed according to fine geometries typical of the Art Nouveau style, also taken up by the elegant fixtures on the ground floor along the main façade. The villa is surrounded by dense vegetation: tall trees - including mulberry trees and palms - bushes and climbing plants. The villa consists of three floors raised approximately 60 cm above the level of the surrounding land. Along the entrance front, oriented in a south-east direction, the access steps to the villa stand on a plinth, worked with a coarse-grained rough plaster. The property inside the park is completed by a 40m2 outbuilding on two levels. Tremezzina is one of the most famous and prestigious towns on Lake Como. The proximity and convenience in reaching the main infrastructures, such as Malpensa airport which can be easily reached in just 1 hour by car, the city of Milan which is 70 km away, and the city of Lugano, in Switzerland, which is located half an hour's drive away, have allowed Tremezzina to become one of the most sought-after locations on Lake Como. Tremezzina is located opposite the very famous city of Bellagio, which can be reached in just 10 minutes by boat. For lovers of winter sports the most prestigious Alpine resorts can be reached in a short time; San Moritz is only 1 and a half hours away by car and Livigno, a duty free area where you can go shopping in the middle of the ski slopes, is about 2 hours away by car.
