We offer for sale one of the most unique and emblematic historical properties in Asturias and Oviedo, the palace of Marcenado de Latores, which is located 4 km from the city center of Oviedo in a neighborhood that gives its name to the palace, a quiet and green area, with views of the Aramo mountain range that make the surroundings of the palace a special area. The complex is oriented south, it has very good access to the A-66 motorway. The excellent complex is made up of a rectangular body from the 18th century, a quadrangular tower and a chapel (both from the late 16th - early 17th century). The coat of arms on the façade corresponds to the Valdés and Lavandera family. The rectangular body, with two floors, shows a lintelled door on the main street, as well as a central and protruding balcony guarded by two shields. The group of openings is completed by non-projecting balconies on the upper floor and latticed openings on the lower floor. With three floors, the tower frames its lintel entrance by means of a moulding embellished with rosettes and grooves. A coat of arms appears in the keystone; above it, there is a niche, where two openings open on each side, which houses the carving of an evangelist. A projecting and central balcony with an iron railing opens higher up. The side chapel, with a portico supported by four Doric columns and a bell gable, naturally illuminated by scallops, is provided by the tower entrance, with its access via a stone staircase. Under cover 250~~Making a total of 980 square meters of surface.~The construction dates from the first half of the 17th century and until July 1812 belonged to the house of Los Valdés, whose weapons, precisely with those of Labandera, with whose family at some point they were related, are on the main façade.~~In July 1812 the house was acquired by purchase, by the canon treasurer of the SIB Cathedral of Oviedo, D. Lucas González Zarzuelo, who was born in Nava del Rey, in the province of Valladolid.~In 1826, upon the death of D. Lucas, his heirs sold the PALACE to the Excmo. Mr. Felipe Suarez Olay, who was president of the Territorial Court of the Principality and who completed the possession, buying a series of properties during the years 1833 and 1834 from D. José González Valdés and his son D. Vicente, who were the descendants of the Founders of the HOUSE and who, in order to carry out these sales, had to ask permission from the Royal Chamber to disassociate them. ~In 1855, upon the death of D. Felipe, the property was inherited by His Excellency Mr. D. Tomás Suárez Pedregal, who was Senior Officer of the Council of State and Knight of the Order of Jerusalem. ~D. Tomás remained single and, upon his death in March 1906, this property was inherited by his niece, Doña Zoa Suárez González, who also died without dependence. ~Therefore, in March 1932, the PALACE was inherited by Doña María Anunciación López del Vallado y Suárez, niece of Doña Zoa, since she was the daughter of her sister, Doña Consolación Jerónima, and the Most Excellent. Fermín López de Vallado y Bratnat, who was mayor of Oviedo. ~In June 1961, Doña María Anunciación died, also without descendants, and, by testamentary disposition, the inheritance passed to the children of her sister by simple relation, Doña Carmen López del Vallado y Valdes-Busto, who in turn was a descendant of the original Valdés family, founder of the HOUSE. ~~PALACE AND PLOT OF 5,900 M2 FOR SALE FOR 1,595,000.-€.
