Old maps of the area show that this villa was built during the days of Maria Theresa, Empress of Austria (1740/1780)
The refined hall, the luxuriant garden and the exclusive direct access from the lake make it an ideal location for parties, exhibits and events.
Guests who arrive at the Villa are welcomed by a wide walkway surrounded by plants in full bloom in the summer and a short distance further on is the captivating villa and its garden.
The Villa has a large hall, called the “Salone delle Feste” richly tinted, with four big fireplaces on its sides.
From the large windows in the Salone delle Feste you can admire the superb scenery of Lake Como.
In addition to the Courtyard there is another hall, with a country appeal: la” Sala dei Trofei”.
When necessary the Courtyard can be equipped with a removable roof.
The Villa also has a large garden, which is terraced and slopes down to the lake and is characterized by the Lover’s Corner overlooking Careno, a big gazebo in forged iron, the main terrace adorned by a wide swimming pool, a play of stairs descending from the Villa that allows the guests to arrive at the wooden pier.
