Description
It’s called Villa del Bello. A monumental and rectangular 1300 sqm mansion structured on three floors with an entrance hall, plus a basement filled with ancient vineries on the ground floor. Former Villa Ricci Signorini, it was the countryside residence of the said family during the XVIIth century; passed on to the Del Bello family only in the XIXth century along with a much larger ownership consisting of lands and farmhouses. Kind of keen on a classical architectural taste, though, to give the property a more stately and noble tone, the engineer Doc. Del Bello renovated the south-east facade by adding a neo-palladian gable; not to mention the two-floor oratory with internal courtyard that was also added at the back of the property. Today, Villa del Bello needs some renovation on the inside to be at the disposal and of use to its new residents, but still a jewel hidden in the countryside.
