This fortress, now converted into a museum, can be visited. Upstairs you have a wonderful view of the entire city.~In the center of the urban center is the Plaza de España, popularly known as the Glorieta, from which the main arteries of the city depart. In the words of El Viajero, the Glorieta “has the exotic haven of a central garden. Bougainvilleas, palm trees, and centuries-old ficus, from Brazil, give the place the appearance of a secret and shady bubble.
