Costa den Blanes is a villa area above the famous marina Puerto Portal. Many well-off people of different nationalities live here. The village owes its name to the Blanes family, who once owned the entire area. Even today, the street names remind us of the individual members of the family, some of whom still own and reside in Mallorca.
