Description
The “stazzo”, typical of Gallura, (from the Latin “Statio”) was an autonomous territorial and economic reality, whose maximum development occurred between 1600 and 1800, where the owner carried out agricultural-pastoral activities to allow the sustenance of the family and workers.
For this reason he had to exploit a relatively vast territory: from tens of hectares of the smallest buildings, to hundreds of the largest.
The stazzo of Lìccia Bàrria is located in the prized Surrau valley, between Arzachena and Palau, renowned among other things for its wines.
But the valley is also renowned for its fortunate geographical position, for its imposing granite rocks and area of continuous archaeological interest.
Lìccia Bàrria is very easy to reach: it is only half an hour from the international airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda and the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci; just ten minutes by car to reach the port of Palau from which ferries depart for La Maddalena and its wonderful archipelago, which is also a National Park.
The property in question is 3 hectares and retains the original building from the early 1800s, completely renovated.
The house, in local granite, has a large living room with adjacent open but very distinct, comfortable and well-equipped kitchen, two large and bright bedrooms, two bathrooms for a total surface area of 144 m2.
