FINISHES
Villa Giulietta, built with skill in the 1960s, has remained the property of the same family ever since, and has been looked after with meticulous care, jealously handing down its heritage over the generations. The Architect of the time, with extraordinary sensitivity, gave the villa a design which, despite the obvious age of its construction, remains surprisingly current thanks to a rational and modern distribution of spaces.
This home stands out for the use of fine materials, custom-made furniture and cutting-edge appliances. Different types of marble and travertine were used in various rooms: green onyx marble and green travertine dominate the large living room and also highlighted in the fireplace surround and in the full-height decorative cladding of one living room wall. The green travertine with inserts in delicate Carrara cream characterizes the kitchen while the dining room is covered in pink Portuguese marble. Pink marble was chosen for the master suite bedroom while for the bathroom of the suite the architect experimented, using black granite with a brilliant finish and green Alpi marble laid with a pattern with decorative elements for the service bathroom, for another bathroom yellow Siena marble was used. The highest quality coverings extend throughout the villa, contributing to the sophisticated and refined atmosphere.
The external area: exposed cladding in white Carrara marble, portico area with flooring made of mixed marble. Various outdoor areas ideal for relaxation and conviviality during outdoor meals. This choice of materials and the external design help to create a welcoming and inviting space to enjoy the atmosphere and climate of Forte dei Marmi in the open air.
The architectural setting of the villa recalls the square and geometric style typical of the 1960s, a style still appreciated and admired in modern furnishings today. Villa Giulietta could easily be confused with the set of a Dolce Vita film, recalling the years of the economic boom, when the desire to enjoy the beauty, climate and fun of one of the most fascinating locations in the world reached its peak.
