Hotel Balneario celebrates 150 years dedicated to thermal health and as a European benchmark in health tourism. The Spa is located in the valley of the Tea River, in the heart of Galician nature. Recognized by numerous awards as the Best Spa in Spain. Hotel Balneario is a 30-minute drive from Vigo Airport and 20 km from the border with Portugal. It has a total of 194 rooms distributed in 3 historic buildings connected to each other without having to go outside. the Palacio del Agua spa, an à la carte spa and an 18-hole golf course. Traditional thermalism has given way in the 21st century to an entire Galician tourist industry based on the cult of the body. And the Spa's mineral-medicinal waters, due to their bicarbonate, carbogaseous and ferruginous composition, are unique in Spain when it comes to fighting against aging, both physically and aesthetically. Building rebuilt between 1992 and 1994, maintaining its past exterior aesthetics and housing inside the facilities of the current Spa Hotel with a total constructed area of 8,097.32 m2. This building is the main core of the complex and all its common services are concentrated inside: reception, administration, management, central warehouse, technical services workshop, PR offices, games room, hairdresser, kitchen and restaurant, private lounge, meeting rooms, cafeteria, shop and reading room. It also accommodates 62 double rooms and 3 suites and specific spa facilities.
