The villa is a beautiful and unique place to stay in Brienno, a small and ancient village of Celtic origin on the western shore of one of the most beautiful and famous places in the world: Lake Como.
The oldest parts of the estate date back to the late 600s and appear on maps from 1720. The present structure was built between 1847 and 1860.
Silk thread was produced in this property from 1860 to 1932.
Ancient and peculiar sky-earth building of about 600 square metres. directly on the lake, formerly used as a spinning mill with a chimney still preserved and large rooms restored as an elegant private residence.
