Description
Located within a forest in Valle de Bravo This project is made up of two volumes that are distributed in an area of 5000m2 of land with the objective of housing the extensive architectural program with the least impact on the existing vegetation of the place so instead of a large joint footprint that required the felling of several trees. The different cabins are planted between the gaps that naturally exist between the trees, also integrating them into the architecture at all times. The predominant materials are the volcanic stone that dresses the walls in contrast to the local pine staves and beams that form the structure. The interior proposal of this weekend retreat was taken hand in hand with the architecture with the aim of creating a warm atmosphere with clear lines and modern details. The covered terrace becomes the main gesticulator for the interaction between the owners and the guests, this being the most public area of the house, it is the visual finishing touch from the access, inviting users from their arrival to rest.
