Description
The farmhouse is located in a splendid panoramic position on the hill of San Bernardo, a hamlet of Sestri Levante, and immersed in the green of olive groves with a view of the Gulf of Tigullio.
The building, constructed in stone with excellent finishes, consists of two levels with a terrace-garden affording wide seaviews.
On the first level overlooking the garden is the pedestrian access leading to the living room, kitchen, bathroom and storage room.
On the upper floor is a double bedroom, a bathroom and a master bedroom with a terrace overlooking the sea and hills.
The property includes a portion of land with olive trees which extends to the public road.
Access to the house is pedestrian only, the car can be parked on the public road and the property can only be reached on foot (about 300 meters).
Sestri Levante is famous for an unmistakable morphology of its territory. The historic center overlooks two bays divided by an isthmus which joins the promontory, the oldest part of the village, to the mainland.
The largest bay, called Baia delle Favole owes its name to Enzo Tortora, an unforgettable TV presenter who hosted Campanile Sera in the late fifties. The second smaller bay is the famous Baia del Silenzio, so called in 1919 by the Ligurian poet Giovanni Descalzo who lived in Sestri.
Sestri is a magical town rich in nature, history and culture which has been a long standing source of inspiration for poets and writers.
