This 19th-century residence is a gem located in "Isola Lunga," just a stone's throw away from Trapani. It's a special island that has preserved its natural beauty and hasn't been transformed over time. The fauna, especially the pink flamingos, and the flora, with its Mediterranean scrub, pine trees, and Salinas, are protected and thriving! The Baron Adragna di Altavilla built this lodge. It was used for hunting and salt harvesting during winter and summer, respectively. Across the house, you'll find a canal and a landing site, which were used to transport food, salt, and people way back in the day. You can still use it today and reach the island via the different piers. The most famous is Mamma Caura and you can catch an incredible view from there. Flat-bottomed boats or small boats can take you to the landing place. When you arrive, you get to experience nature in all its glory along the dirt roads. There is no asphalt on the island, but that's part of its charm. You can drive on the dirt roads with ease, and they'll lead you to the forest, arable land, and salt marshes, which are part of the 18- hectare property. The house is but a few steps from the sea, and it's the perfect place to unwind. The house has three apartments, warehouses, and terraces that offer an exclusive and unique view. The family hasn't lived there for a while, and it needs restoring. Still, the charm of this old house remains intact, and it must be restored while keeping its integrity and the island's strict constraints. Getting to Isola Lunga is a breeze! You can fly into Palermo (100 km), Trapani (3 km), or Birgi (15 km) airports, and you'll be there in no time.
