This beautiful villa, located at the top of the promontory of Paraggi, perfectly combines nature and history. The unique panorama, the beauty of sunsets and sunrises are simply breathtaking. The main building overlooks the Paraggi Bay and the entrance to the Portofino harbor. The property is located on the top of the promontory of Paraggi Bay, allowing a vast view of the sea, both east and west, as well as of the surrounding forest and headlands.
The ground floor features a large living room, kitchen, and an elegant fireplace located beside the staircase, leading up to the second floor. The upper level includes three large double bedrooms with three bathrooms and from each window a distinct, unmatched view.
The annex, distributed on one floor, consists of a living room with dining area, which enjoys unique sea views, a kitchen with French doors, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. From its prime position, it dominates the entirety of the Tigullio Gulf, from Santa Margherita to the Cinque Terre.
Each building overlooks its own terrace, equipped with beautiful tables, chaise lounges, and relaxation areas with total sea views. Between the two houses is another splendid patio with a large fountain and a structure, enclosing the barbecue area.
The real uniqueness of this property, however, is the land: the villa is surrounded by a large private park, which once was home to donkeys, cows and poultry, as well as an olive grove that produced one of the best oils in the Ligurian east coast. Today the park is mainly woodland but can be partly restored as an olive grove and vineyard.
A project has been carried out prior, as to reach the villa directly by car via the back of the mountain. It is also possible to increase substantially the volume of the living areas, as well as to realize a breathtaking swimming pool, in one of the most striking locations of the entire Ligurian coast.
Paraggi was born as a small village of fishermen and millers: there were twelve mills along “Via dei Mulini”. Today it still maintains its genuine feel and, with its crystal-clear water and fine pearl sand, it is the Italian Riviera’s most exclusive bay.
