The municipality of Santa Eularia des Riu is located on the eastern side of Ibiza and covers the parishes of Santa Eularia des Riu, Sant Carles de Peralta, Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera, Jesus and Es Puig d'en Valls. The capital of the municipality, also called Santa Eularia des Riu, is located just over 20 kilometers from the island's airport and 16 from the city of Eivissa (Ibiza).
