This Hotel, one of the oldest and most historically significant houses in Santorini, is among the few that withstood the great earthquake of 1956. Built in the early 1800s, it was lovingly restored by its owners in 1870. Known as Kapetanospita, or Captain's Houses, these types of mansions were built and sustained only by wealthy ship owners.
The Hotel was once the summer home of Murat, the King of Sicily and General of Napoleon, adding to its historical significance. The property is spread over three levels and covers 450 square meters of land, with a total built area of 520 square meters.
