Description
It is a house located in the La Loma Golf Club subdivision in one of the most exclusive areas of the city of San Luis Potosí. It is located in one of the highest points of the city and for this reason the conceptual idea of the project focuses on the views of the city from almost all spaces using continuous windows on both the ground and upper floors. The volumetry of the The house is composed of two horizontal volumes divided by the planes of the slabs rotated to break with the main straight volume and planted on a local stone plinth. On the ground floor the public and service spaces are located: garage kitchen breakfast room utility room laundry room access hall living room dining room garden and terrace with pool. The cellar is located in the basement which is accessed from the terrace on the ground floor. Entering the cellar you find a natural environment composed of the rock of the terrain on which a metal grid is superimposed and the stone retaining walls perforated to embed bottles. This creates an environment conducive to its characteristics for storing and tasting wine. On the upper floor are the private spaces: TV room, main bedroom and 2 secondary bedrooms. The combination of the materials used (flattened white, dark wood and natural stone) and the use of windows along the entire length of the volume give a contemporary appearance to the house.
