Tsada is quite a large village located only eight kilometers from Pano Paphos yet set high above sea level therefore the temperatures are extremely different, during the hot and humid season the difference in temperate can be 6 degrees. In the winter months Tsada can often have snow around the end of January/beginning of February. Due to the village being situated so much higher than the humidity line it is ideal for property purchasers who do not enjoy the heat and humidity during the height of summer. Many golf enthusiasts reside in Tsada as it boasts one of Cyprus’s leading golf courses, Minthis Hills previously known as Tsada Golf Courts, the first ever created in Cyprus. If golf is your passion then within only a thirty minute drive you can reach the newest golf course called Elea and Secret Valley and the world renown Aphrodite Hills Golf Clubs also. The history of Tsada goes back 500 years ago although the village itself has no significant architectural character and very few properties were constructed in the traditional way. The village is famous as it was the home village of EOKA national hero Evagoras Pallikarides. Just outside the village is a 12th century chapel that used to be a part of a Monastery. The village does have a bus service that links both Paphos and Polis/Latchi on a daily basis. Being only minutes into Paphos you can find all amenities including supermarkets, shops, banks and so much more.
