The unique and impressive Mallorcan “Possessiò”, which can be reached quickly and very easily from the district capital Palma de Mallorca, was originated as a settlement in the 14th century, but really gained its present character in the following four centuries. As early as the beginning of the 16th century, the historic manor house had an animal-driven oil press and a “bodega”, storage rooms for the cultivated products and wine. Even in the cadastre of that time, the manor was described as one of the most important in the area. Later, a chapel, jail, stables for livestock and workshops were also added. The property is also known as the property of Cardinal Despuig, who extended it in the 18th century in Italian style.
The property has more than 37 hectares of natural landscape, 25 of which are farmed with vineyards and fruit trees, right in the cultural heart of the Tramuntana area, UNESCO World Heritage since 2011. Die eindrucksvolle, von der Landeshauptstadt Palma de Mallorca schnell und sehr gut zu erreichende mallorquinische “Possessiò” hat ihren Ursprung als Ansiedlung im 14. Jahrhundert, ihren heutigen Charakter gewann sie jedoch erst in den drauffolgenden vier Jahrhunderten. Bereits Anfang des 16. Jahrhundert verfügt das historische Herrenhaus über eine tiergetriebene Ölpresse und eine „Bodega“, Lagerräume für die Anbauprodukte und Wein. Schon im damaligen Kataster wird das Gut als eines der bedeutendsten in der Umgebung beschrieben. Später kamen auch eine Kapelle, Kercher, Ställe für Viehzucht und Werkstätten hinzu. Bekannt ist das Anwesen auch als Eigentum von Kardinal Despuig, der es im 18. Jahrhundert in italienischem Stil erweiterte.
Das Grundstück verfügt über mehr als 37 Hektar natürlicher Landschaft, 25 davon werden landwirtschaftlich betrieben mit Weinfeldern und Fruchtbäumen, mitten im kulturellen Herzen des Tramuntana Gebietes, UNESCO Welterbe seit 2011. La impresionante “Possessiò” mallorquina, a la que se puede llegar rápida y fácilmente desde la capital autónoma, Palma de Mallorca, se originó como aldea en el siglo XIV, pero sólo adquirió su carácter actual en los cuatro siglos siguientes. Ya a principios del siglo XVI, la histórica casa señorial contaba con una almazara accionada por animales y una bodega, almacenes para los productos cultivados y vino. Incluso en el catastro de la época, la mansión era descrita como una de las más importantes de la zona. Más tarde se añadieron una capilla, una cárcel, establos para el ganado y talleres. La finca también es conocida por ser propiedad del cardenal Despuig, quien la amplió con estilo italiano en el siglo XVIII.
La finca cuenta con más de 37 hectáreas de paisaje natural, 25 de ellas son zonas agrícolas que cuentan con viñedos y árboles frutales en el corazón cultural de la zona de Tramuntana, Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO desde 2011. Se encuentra enclavada en un amplio valle soleado y una cordillera protectora en el lado norte. Lo más destacado son una galería renacentista de aproximadamente 40 m2 con vistas a los campos circundantes y al valle al sur, así como una terraza cubierta de casi 100 m2 con unas impresionantes vistas sobre el jardín de estilo toscano hacia el abrumador paisaje de la montaña.
