Description
The house is located in the settlement of Hydra, on the main road of the island and at a distance of 7-8 minutes walk from the port. It is all made of 50cm thick stone. It was built in 1973-1974 and completely renovated in 2010. Its roof is wooden with tiles and insulated with modern materials from rain water, heat and cold. It covers two levels, has an area of 162m2 on a plot of 266.93m2. On the first level is the living room, dining room and kitchen. The total area of the first level is 84m2. In front of the living room there is a terrace of 40m2, where one can have breakfast or coffee.In the living room there are two armchairs and two sofas where two people can sleep comfortably. It should be noted that one of the two sofas is an old aqueduct of at least 80 years old, but in general there are several old pieces of furniture of historical value. Apart from the sofas, and, as shown in the photos, there are built-in living rooms so that more people can sit around the fireplace, where one can also sleep (mainly children)In the living room and in front of the kitchen there is a large table where 10 people can sit comfortably for dinner. On the second level, which goes up an internal staircase (as shown in the drawing), there are three bedrooms through a corridor (each with its own balcony door), where all three "look" at a large terrace of 56m2 covered with tiles in a small part (lengthwise) and the rest covered with a pergola and reeds as shown in the photo. The first bedroom is small where one person can sleep or can be used for an office.The second (middle) bedroom has twin beds. The third has a double bed, a large new closet with many drawers, shelves and space for hanging clothes. This room also has its own bathroom with large shower (with seat) completely renovated. As shown in the drawing, at the end of the corridor, in which there is a large new closet, is a second bathroom with marble sink, basin and a modern washing machine Miele. And this bathroom is completely renovated. At the back of the house there is a garden of 108m2, in which there are four lemon trees, one grapefruit, one almond tree and one gauze. Access to the garden is either outside the house or inside through a door on the left at the end of the stairs leading to the upper floor. This is also shown in the drawing. The bedroom level is heated and cooled by a central air conditioning unit and the living room level is heated by radiators and cooled by a modern split unit.
