A historical note: Formerly the residence of the Counts della Frattina and the noble family of the Malimpiero of Venice, it consisted of a farmhouse and a manor house. Its construction dates back to the last decades of the eighteenth century, as evidenced by the maps of the Lombardy-Veneto and Austro-Italian land registers kept in the Offices of the State Archives in Pordenone and Venice. In 1870 it was acquired by the Civil Hospital of Venice which made it a school. Numerous artifacts found in the property and placed in the Napoleonic age, among which the most interesting are bayonets of the time, inkwells and agricultural tools dating back. It then became the property of the Sacilotto di Motta lords in the early 1900s, who annexed a cocoon deposit with relative dryer to the existing structure, transforming it into a thriving silk industry.
The villa represents the result of a long restoration process perfected by the current owner in the mid-nineties. The ambitious architectural project aimed at restoring and expanding the property involved craftsmen and expert mosaic artists who, through a rational intervention plan coordinated by a team of expert architects, allowed the recovery and enhancement of the original elements such as the flooring. in Venetian style, the ceramics that cover the walls of the kitchen, the pictorial ornaments and the stuccos that decorate the entrance hall, the external plasters and the windows. The restoration plan was effectively integrated with the creation of modern electrical, hydraulic and heating systems (underfloor throughout the ground floor).
Relaxation and wellness areas have been added. The house, set in a plot of approximately 8,000 square meters, currently consists of two buildings: the main villa and the annex. outbuilding of 1,200 sqm.
