Historic villa, located in Pratovecchio Stia (AR) Via Dante Alighieri n. 26.Located on the outskirts of the village, about 300 meters from the main square, in Badia, not far from the confluence of the Arno and the stream "Fiumicello". The property consists of a main building ("villa"), a single-storey building ("stables").The villa consists of a building of 3 floors above ground, of ancient construction (dating back to 1400) as well as an underground cellar. The three floors are connected to each other by stone staircase and wooden service stairs. The roof and the external facades of the building are in excellent condition, following a complete restoration carried out in 1992 while the interiors are to be restored. The stables are part of a single-storey building, on the west side of the property, not far from the villa, of ancient construction (a plate dates it to 1791) in masonry and stone, with a truss roof, type "Polonceau", with terracotta covering. Inside it consists of a single large room of about 220 square meters. The front of the villa overlooks an Italian garden of about 550 square meters, with a small central decorative fountain. The southern extension of the garden consists of a wooded park, of about 2000 square meters, with tall trees typical of the area, some of which secular, including an atlas cedar, the circumference of 460 cm and 25 meters high (recorded in a text published by the State Forestry Corps). The land to the west of the villa (approximately 4400 m2) is currently partly used as a vegetable garden, in the center of which there is a circular basin, used as a reserve of water for watering. The villa lends itself to a prestigious tourist residence being in a particularly interesting territory from a naturalistic and cultural point of view.
