Melisa’s professional experience in San Miguel includes having been the Coordinator of the Bellas Artes Institute. Previously, in Mexico City, she was Deputy Director of Cultural Studies at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana, and as worked for art- and culture- engaged NGOs in Oaxaca, Veracruz, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), and Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana (UCSJ).
