According to Forbes Magazine, Jennifer Lawrence is America’s richest star. Despite the Hollywood celebrity’s young age, she is worth more than the likes of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kristen Stewart , Justin Beiber, etc. No surprise, then, that the twenty four year old boasts an impressive real estate portfolio. Her most recent purchase is the 8 Million dollar Hollywood villa previously owned by the equally famous Jessica Simpson. But the actress won’t stay long in the villa, she simply needed a discrete, temporary nest while construction on another California property is completed.
It is a coveted villa, but Jennifer Lawrence does not appear to be particularly attached to or enamored by it. The fact that numerous families before her have inhabited this splendid home seems to displease her, as if this renders the home unworthy of a star of her caliber. It would be a pity though not to fully appreciate this marvelous and welcoming property. 
The villa is located in the exclusive Beverly Crest neighborhood, home to Cameron Diaz, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem among others. The garden surrounding the house is delightfully green and lavish, a true paradise containing a beautiful fountain, koi pond and of course a swimming pool. 
Spread over two levels, the villa consist of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, walk-in closets, a living room and kitchen. The previous owner, Jessica Simpson, had a penchant for shabby chic: white and pink satin and lace triumph throughout the home. Perhaps the only exception is the living room, having much more discrete and modern furnishings. In addition to brightening rooms, French windows throughout the home offer delightful views of the villa’s private external oasis. The kitchen enjoys fabulous views over the blooming garden and fountain.
