Milan is constantly expanding, with taller and taller skyscrapers, big residential centers and new development projects throughout the city. It is constantly transforming, as can be seen in the Gae Aulenti square, which houses the tallest skyscraper in the region, the Unicredit Tower.
Arata Isozaki, Zaha Hadid and Daniel Libeskind, stars of modern architecture, are working on the project “City Life” for the redevelopment of the historic neighborhood of Fiera Milano, once known as the business hub of the city, now destined to become one of the most modern neighborhoods of the metropolis. City Life shall be immersed in a 160 square meter park, connected by the new MM5 line, and with supervised underground parking.
The buildings have been designed following rigorous environmental-friendly criteria and are a favorable real estate investment for those who wish to purchase a luxury apartment in Milan. The City Life project borders with Portello. Urban construction projects in the area, along with social and economic projects for commercial and residential value, are to grant a new independence to the area, in the past considered the outskirts.
Furthermore, the Assago – Milan Fiori area has been subject to great structural changes, thanks to the opening of the underground. A mix of advanced technology, eco-friendly choices and a new way of living, both in the commercial area and public places are to be expected.
