A bit of a mountain hut feel with a taste of a beach house fuse this unusual mix created by architect Paul Jones. The cutting-edge property has been named Eagle Bay Residence, located in Western Australia.
Considering that the house embodies modernity with a touch of a futuristic theme, it is surprising that the property is made up of dark wooden panels. Jones wished to create something unique and to steer away from the usual Australian style house. Needless to say, he certainly achieved just that.
The finished result is a true masterpiece in terms of architecture and design. Furthermore, the contemporary style loft enjoys breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The cleverly positioned windows ensure that the spectacular views can be relished from every corner of the property.
Other outstanding features include the enormous back garden, and the interior design. The interior of the luxurious Australian abode was designed by renowned interior designer Nina Dempster, who brought the interior of the property to life in line with its powerful and innovative architecture.
The living room and kitchen share the same enchanting space, in which the past and the present coexist in pure harmony. Defined wooden floors play an important role throughout, with white wash furniture. Unsurprisingly there are several chill out areas with ocean views. The verandas are decked out with wicker furniture for relaxing in the open air against a magnificent backdrop, and an outdoor kitchen space with a dining area, perfect for eating al fresco during the long summer nights.
