This magnificent residence, once owned by the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, is now available to rent. Located in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, the property has recently been renovated and modernized, whilst maintaining a number of features that the renowned landlord had fitted during his time in the luxury home.
The property was built in 1958, and it was purchased by Elvis and his wife Priscilla Beaulieu in 1967. The couple spent a number of years in the luxury home, which was then put up for sale after their separation.
The French Regency style property looks out onto the Pacific Ocean, and it covers around 500 square meters. The property is made up of four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen, fitted with steel appliances and a center island work top.
A wonderful library covers the walls of the living area, which is furnished with couches and padded armchairs. The sitting room has maintained the charm that Elvis wished to create, luxurious details, surrounded by large windows, which create a harmony between the interior and exterior of the property.
The external spaces of the property are immaculately kept. The outdoor space is well furnished and distributed, between verandas, terraces, boulevards, and lawns. An outdoor spa and swimming pool complete the magnificent space.
Up until three years ago, the property was rented at 25 thousand dollars per month. At present, the asking price to experience Elvis’s ex-home, is 45 thousand dollars. The increase in price, in part, is due to the restoration of the property, which revaluated the architecture and aesthetics of the building. Such restored features include an impressive coffered ceiling, which positively altered the properties appearance.
Furthermore, the fact that the property risked being demolished in the past, renders the home rather intriguing. Thankfully, the initial project was planned by architect Rex Lotery, whose properties are openly protected thanks to an ordinance in Beverly Hills.
