With 50 years of experience in real estate, Pat Tucker has built a legacy of resilience, dedication, and service. She earned her real estate license in 1975 to support herself and her four children. In 1984, she achieved her broker’s license and started Pat Tucker Real Estate in her living room. Her business flourished, becoming Century 21 Pat Tucker Realty, the largest real estate firm in the parish. To support its growth, she built a two-story office building on S. Morrison Blvd. in Hammond, which remains a local landmark as Tucker Commons.
In 1998, Pat made the difficult decision to sell her real estate business to care for her husband during an illness. Her proudest accomplishment has been raising four children as a single parent who have grown into happy, successful adults. Pat is very busy today doing and finding what she loves finding their perfect home.
Throughout her career, Pat has earned numerous honors, including being named one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women in Tangipahoa Parish in 2014. She has held leadership roles such as President of the Tangipahoa Board of Realtors, President of SLU FeLions, and Vice President of Options, and is a Lifetime Member of the Tangipahoa Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club.
Pat is deeply rooted in her community. She is a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, where she serves as a Eucharistic minister and helps distribute food to those in need. She is also involved with the Tangipahoa Chamber of Commerce, Albany Hungarian Society, and the Krewe of Omega, where she and her late husband, Joe Lobue, served as King and Queen XX.
Pat’s extensive network includes mortgage lenders, title companies, appraisers, and contractors, ensuring every transaction is seamless and every property is market-ready. Many of her clients become lifelong friends, a testament to the relationships she builds.
Inspired by her father’s advice that “can’t” is a curse word, Pat has spent her life proving that hard work and determination can overcome any obstacle. She is proud of the life she’s built and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the real estate world.
